The Gluten Free Facial

 
     If you would have Googled the words “Gluten Free” 10 years ago, you wouldn’t have found much information. Google it today and you will find over 52 Million web pages with information about gluten sensitivity and intolerance. Needless to say, going gluten free or organic is all the rage now!
 
     Most people think of gluten as something you need to worry about in foods. However, the skin is like a sponge, absorbing whatever it comes in contact with, including gluten. Gluten intolerance often results in common symptoms such as skin rash and blisters, many of which could be resulting from the skin care products that the individual is using.

     In our Gluten Free Facials, the two main products we use are the One Fine Day Shea Sugar Scrub and the Splendid Dirt Nutrient Mud Mask with Organic Pumpkin.

 
     The One Fine Day Shea Sugar Scrub is 98.5% natural, gluten free, and is used as a dual cleanser and exfoliant. It boosts radiance, reduces redness and discoloration, won’t strip the skin of its natural oils, and is scented with pure grapefruit and citrus. It is also safe to use both morning and night.

 
     The Splendid Dirt Mud Mask is 99.6% natural, gluten free, and should be used at least once a week. It contains Illite and Bentonite clays, active yogurt cultures, and fresh enzyme rich organic pumpkin. This mask boosts radiance, deep cleans and shrinks the pores, improves the look of broken capillaries and uneven skin tone, and provides oxygenation and circulation to the skin.
